Favorite Disney Memories

“Memories are timeless treasures of the heart.”

This month, our team is reminiscing about our favorite Disney memories. From first trips to family vacations and everything in between, our Disney experiences hold a very special place in our hearts. Please enjoy a collection of our most heart-warming memories. (P.S. We’d love to hear your favorites, too! Feel free to post yours on our Facebook or Instagram pages!)

DREAM BUILDER BECKY

Magic Kingdom’s “Disney After Hours” event is, hands down, my whole family’s favorite Disney memory. With the park nearly empty (it’s a limited ticket event!) we spent our time running from ride to ride, making silly faces for the ride photos, and eating all the free popcorn and Mickey bars we could eat. With younger kids, I wasn’t sure how late into the night they would last (the event takes place for the 3 hours after the park closes) but they were still smiling huge for our final photos of the night! Who doesn’t love a midnight pic with Mickey?

DREAM BUILDER BRENDA

My favorite Disney memory was when the girls and I were chosen to be the Grand Marshall family for the “Festival of Fantasy” parade at Magic Kingdom in October 2019.  It was such an amazing and special experience!

DREAM BUILDER JONI

My favorite Disney memories come from my most recent trip. My husband and I decided we were going to take our two-year-old daughter to Walt Disney World. For a Christmas present we surprised my mom and bought her tickets to come with us. She would often tell me about the time she took me as a little girl to Disney on a trip with my father. She recalled how excited I was when I got to meet Mickey during a character breakfast. So, I thought it would be fun to do the same thing and take my daughter and my mother to a character breakfast. When I saw the joy in my own daughter’s face, I knew exactly how special that moment was for my mom then, as it was for me now. Getting to see her relive those moments now with her granddaughter were truly my most favorite memories.

DREAM BUILDER KIMBERLY R.

My favorite memory was seeing Disney through my children’s eyes.  The entire week was magical…I cried many happy tears watching them meet their favorites.

DREAM BUILDER LISA

My favorite memory is from 4 years ago on our boys’ 1st visit to Walt Disney World. My older son was 2 1/2 years old, and our youngest turned 1 in Disney! Walking down Main Street with our boys this 1st time was an amazing experience to see their eyes light up with the castle. We celebrated his 1st birthday with a haircut and dinner at Be Our Guest. Character meets were fun too, especially meeting the big cheese, himself!

DREAM BUILDER STACIE

I honestly cannot choose between two of my best memories, so I’m sharing both of them!

1. My husband and I had the most magical wedding at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and celebrated the occasion with our family and friends in the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. As if it could get any better, we spent our Honeymoon in Walt Disney World!  I couldn’t have dreamed a better dream!

2. Our babies’ first trip to Walt Disney World left me speechless. Up until that point, they were fearful of all mascots, characters and anyone in a costume. The first time they saw Mickey and Minnie, they took off running into their arms.  It was truly a moment I will never forget!  Disney magic is real!

DREAM BUILDER TORI

My daughter, Noelle, was chosen as the “Beast” for ‘Enchanted Tales with Belle’ and her Pappap was chosen as a knight. Noelle dancing with Belle was truly a magical moment (I was definitely tearing up #disneymom). We love this interactive attraction at Magic Kingdom!! Plus, Pappap had fun too!!

DREAM BUILDER TAMI

Celebrating my daughter, Paisley’s, first birthday at Walt Disney World with our whole family in January 2012 is my favorite memory! It was a week-long celebration, but her actual birthday day began at Chef Mickey’s having breakfast with Minnie Mouse and all of her friends!

DREAM BUILDER TRICIA

Taking my daughter for her first trip for Walt Disney World is a moment I’ll never forget. She was scared of everyone else but loved meeting Minnie!

Thank you for reliving our special memories. We’re looking forward to helping you turn your dreams into special memories soon!
